Just come on over mate. No problem We start late April/early May. We have a plan on going out very soon again before the season closes. We drive at least 350 km each way so not a thing we do every weekend, sadly

Nice jack btw. As Steve said, the driving charge in the tail end of most mortar rounds are just a shot gun shell filled with gun powder. Normally not dangerous.

    Cheers

Its been a few days since last update, had some stuff needing to be done and some days was a horrible rain weather. Managed to get outside today, and went straight to an area where ze germanz had some stables during the war,and after the war it was supposedly used as a large dumping area. I spoke With a guy at work last week and he is going to try get permission so we can go there With a tractor or CAT digger to make some decent holes in the ground..I had lots of hits on the detector and soon had a little pit going..

Didnt really find any interesting bits, but it shows that this Place need more digging..

A pioneer Axe and some horseshoe Tools I think..

Wrench and axe are good finds, not the most common here. Keep searching.

    Hi Inka,

The "Strange part" you refer to is part of the frame of a wind up clock, possibly a travel alarm clock due to it's fairly small size. Here's a representative example, but obviously there are many different types.
