    You're definitely on to something good there, friend...especially as you're beginning to find more personal gear...My German grandfather was stationed in Norway before being sent to the Ostfront, so I'm following this thread with great interest...

    It would be a fascinating story in itself to know why a Danish 1925 2 Kroner coin ended up getting buried all the way over in Norway! Someone's "lucky piece"? If so, it apparently didn't work!

    ..And too bad the coin was in such bad condition,a Perfect one could land around 170 Euro! It is raining a lot today,but still I am preparing to open a new pit in the stables/dumping area today,,just braving up on some coffee first

    I bet that it's from a German soldier. Probably went to Denmark before Norway and kept it as a souvenir

    Rainy day today but not wasted infront of the computer screen,,the forest was calling.) I dug aloot but found mostly kilometers of wire and about 200000 Nails..

    I hope tomorrow will bring better Luck and nicer weather,,I dont mind getting all muddy and wet,but it was nice to get back home to a warm house

    That flaregun is a very nice find! It probably had wooden grips seeing as those are unfortunately gone too... is this from a frontline of sorts up north?
