Kärnten in now part of Slowenia? Or only some parts of it? Have You tried to hunt for a relics in the mountains? I have been in Slowenia several times and once found a WWI (1916 made) cartridge what looked like almost loke new after all these years. I belive there is a lot of good stuff in the mountain areas...

Frundsberg - Kärnten/Koroška its in Austria and Slovenia. Yes we have one interesting site from WW1 "Soška fronta" and one from WW2 "Koroška" where the WW2 was ended in Europe.

Hehe, either you were very fast or the puny PC, that Im currently at, didnt load pics fast enough.
I have noticed, that I sometimes read a post, where there are seemingly no pics, but then they start to emerge.
Has to do with small portable PC (which I often use, as its handy) and the connection sometimes..., at least thats my version and Im sticking to it!
Great pics BTW. Like that last pic. If not 'brothers in arms,' then at least a good example of what opposing forces were using.
