    It was found with some piesec of MG34, its possbile that is for MG34?

    Awsome job on the luger. I can't remember if I have seen on this thread if you posted the marking on this luger?
    Would be interested to know if it was an S/42 or what? Have you worked on any of the other pistols you have found? Great finds! Please keep the pictures coming.

    PPK is still in disel bath, i didnt have time to do some restoration.

    What marks do we look for?

    Its marked 41 and Ade said that is from Mauser.

    Is there a year date in front of the chamber? ( Chamber date). He is right about the 41. Just wondered. The ammo have any markings?

    I'm not allowed to have ammo! I dumped it in to the river.

    I can not see any numbers there, if you want i can do some closeup photos?

    close up numbers would be great. I like lugers. I have about 6 in my collection. Maybe we can see when it was made? One of my lugers I received from a Vet. I took the 1944 dated ammo out of the spare magazine in the holster. It layed in the top of his closet all these years. The holster is brown and dated 1918. It is a police Luger with the transbar conversion and it is unit marked. This was why I asked about the Ammo. Also the MP40 is restored? Please don't goe to too much trouble on this.
