With a little ingenuity i am sure you will be able to move one or more of them Pole leverage, tri-pod made of good sized logs and manual "chain lift", a 4-wheel drive with a good winch, sledge hammer and wedge

That must be fun. Here all I can find are Indian arrowheads and the like. Rich A. in Pa.

Knowledge is power, guard it well.
@ Datrus:
Oh I've got ideas, it's going to be hard bringing heavy equipment over there since there is no real road(The landowner's brother really wants to bring in a digger, but it's pretty much impossible, only way is through using a boat).
@ me109g4:
There was a lot of cleanup of ammunition etc after the war, and luckily I've not run into any live ammunition, but if I do, I'll give the Police a jingle
@ herrzark:
Thanks, I'll probably pop by there a couple of more times in my summer vacation, I'll make sure to take more pictures of the scenery etc, it is really beautiful there.
@ rra227:
It is pretty fun, but there are still more and better places to find things than here, if you are ever in Norway, let me know and we'll grab a shovel and head out. Arrowheads must be pretty exciting to find as well, but aren't most of them made of rock etc? How do you "track them down"?
Most of the finds from the last trip are currently soaking in a nice vinegar bath:

Nice job on the ID, I had just sat down when I noticed that sitting right in front of me just waiting. First German rifle round I've found here, I think they mostly used Krag Jørgensen rifles.

Didn't take that many pictures, and it was kind of a relaxed trip, and since nobody was with me, the sun was melting my face, and a had a bit to do at home, I didn't stay that long(Next time I'll stay longer).
The excitement for the day was seeing a viper, I think it may have been snooping around in my backpack(I approached it, and I saw it fleeing the scene), maybe it got hungry for biscuits?
The catch for the day:

The photo uploader is being a bit silly, but if you click the links for the pictures, you'll see them.
