    BSA Motorcycle cilynder.

    MAybe somebody know exactly from what type of BSA it is?
    Piston diameter is 85-86mm
    probably it could be 600 ccm, BSA form 30's years.
    But what type of M model
    thanks

    p.s. in Latvia noone have interest on British motocycles

    Nice looking Ostvolk medaille. Sticking my neck out under the guillotines blade I would guess the cylinder might be from an BSA M20, but only because I can't think of another model that was used by the military. The proper bike experts will pull up alongside shortly...

    At first I decide that M20 it is. But head of cilynder of M20 is little bit different.

    As a former BSA owner, those engine parts spark an interest. Not an M20 but I think a M33-10 600cc side valve single, in the "sloper" frame and made 1933-36.

    At a glance it looks like an M33 side valve but I don't think there are enough cooling fins for the larger barrels of a 600 cc single. I'm thinking it is one of the 1930's B1 250cc models.
