I am not an expert, but the Suit Heat Controller like that I have only seen for US aircraft. They may have been used in Allied aircraft, but I do not know if that is the case. You could still find them as NOS at surplus stores here in the US in the late 60s. If you could find the maintenance manual set for the B-24, there may be an Installation View of that unit installed in the airframe. It appears the one you have still has airframe portions attached so if the stars all align you might get lucky and be able to determine which station in the aircraft that controller was mounted. Cool stuff!!
