Hi, my Great Uncle was an American Officer at that encampment and a book detailing its construction was passed down in our family after he passed away. I've downloaded images of them and think it may help you to identify the location as there are a number of maps included. Detail WWII Book Photo Gallery by brandonrowe at pbase.com
