Hi,
Most of the guns are still at the bottom of the cliff where they have been since Force 135 (Liberating troops) pushed them over the cliff just after the end of the Occupation. 4 barrels have been raised... with some difficulty and put on display at bunkers run by the Channel Islands Occupation Society. The gun are owned by a scrap dealer and have been for some years but I think the difficulty in recovering them has meant he's more than happy to leave them where they are. Also there are enviroment issues with regards to the land where they are. The land has been given special status, a little like a National Park so dragging these lumps of metal up the cliff would result in major problems. They are destined to remain at the foot of the cliff and those who want to can climb down at low tide and clamber over the remains.
All the best from Jersey,
D.
