    Nice artifact! As for the SS markings I was under the impression that this was something that occured very rarely or was fantasy. There is a good article in the annual surplus firearms magazine that discusses this and the jury is out on the ss markings. A lot of 38As and similar sub guns were used by the police forces and anti-partisan groups.

    -electrolyse
    -dremel
    -klever for bluing..just for protect the metal

    i dont want to masticate the body with syntetic metal..i leave this as is..
