Article about: Some very nice finds there Ingrid I like the all metal '20' bore shotgun shell and the grenade Are those Lebel cartridges 5th row down ? You treat shotgun shells slightly differently to me.

    You treat shotgun shells slightly differently to me. I find a suitable thick bush and chuck the buggers into the middle of it so I don't find them again !

    Yes, they are Lebel.
    Is that because those shotgun shells are 'modern ammunition', you chuck them away?

    Yes These are the most annoying thing I find at certain sites as they can be quite numerous ! Fortunately they tend to give a mixed MD single so I can usually ignore them I certainly never take them home with me

    Hi,
    Your pinfire shotgun cartridges are quite nice very old and allso quite collectible. The centrefire ones are just to modern trash. Nice little collection.

    Very nice sellection you have the pin fire rounds are my fav, also the citron grenades i have some of them. well done on your hunting, and showing them.

    Maybe it's worth taking them with you.
    If you got a whole bunch of them, you could turn them in at the local scrap yard for some cash.
    I don't even use a metal detector where I go!!! The place is full of metal pieces.
