Hi guys, i'm glad that you liked the trip so far.
After the stop at the gas station for a coffee we headed to some more interesting and historical places related to the battle of the Tannnenburg Line (July 1944)
Yes Gouldy i got an officer's heer belt, tropical goggles and an Imperial EKII with it's document. It's amazing how militaria in Germany are so much cheaper than those in the internet. Of course you need to find an antique shop that doesn't have a website etc so they don't know the market prices in the internet.

The battle of Tannenburg line took place in 3 hills also known as the blue hills.
The blue hills were named as
Kinderheim hill
Grenadier hill
69,9 hill (also called Love hill)
So first we went to the Kinderheim hill.

After discussing history on the top of the tower, we walked around to have a look at the bunkers. Those concrete ones were used as commanding positions.
The tower in the photos was not built during WWII. It's a recent creation and if you ever get on the top be sure to wear warm clothes
