Need help with these ammo

Judaz

These rounds were used by the Garand, Springfield, Browning 30cal MG and various other American weapons. They were also used in modified Lee-Enfields (P17) manufactured by the US and altered to match their standard service round.

Harry - Sorry I too have an encylopaedic knowledge of them but my memory isn't as good as it used to be. In fact, it's almost as bad as Davejb's and that's saying something !!!

Found lot of new ammo with headstamp edq S 43 18/17/16 => 5.6cm

Headstamp makes it German 7.92 but please post pictures Judaz. Just writing the headstamp sometimes isn't enough.
