Digging on Vietnam Battlefields , when will it start in Afghan !!

Paul,
I've seen a few pieces of British army gear from the 1880's failed campaign in Afghanistan surface recently !!!!
.. There's a crop of captured Mk2 Martini Henry's out there ... of which some have made it back in the last few years !!

Some of the blokes have been bringing back old Afghan treasures for quite a while but maybe still abit early to be digging for the modern gear !!

Did you dig them yourself Chu ? Any photos of the area ?

Photo 11 depicts the insignia of the US Army Transportation Corps ... doesn't appear to have changed at all from the WWII ones that I find on old American airbases here in England ...

#5 is a mount for an M-60 machine gun #8 is a tool for an M-14 #1 I think is a mounting bracket for a generator on a M series truck engine, possibly a five ton.
