Awsome collection chris. boy would i like one of those. Could you post the soldiers names?
And btw, its not every day that you find a ww1 french soldier,... how did you come across him?

I will go and get the names tonight.
The French soldier was in the Village of Fere-en-tardenois. I was 9 years old, my Brother and I were digging on the side of this road and starting to pull up stuff and you Can guess the rest,told our father and he called the Gendarme.

No not at all.I always tell my wife I am a country boy.This was not the first time that I had seen a body because of my dad job.

Oic so your dad uncovered bodies as well? Thats pretty crazy, but a little more comforting to know that you were quite used to it.

No my dad did not uncovered bodies,but had to store many from ww1 to ww2.

Please don't sell them if they belonged to Soldiers killed in action. Try to find the next of kin or donate them to the 82nd AB or 101st AB museums or give them to the American Battlefield Monuments commission or whatever it's called.

They will be going to Fort Bragg one day.
