I'll try posting them one at a time. If that doesn't work, give me your email.

Here's the second one. This is an M35 shell (EF66), with an M40 liner (58), but the chin strap hangers are M31 style aluminum, so I figure this was probably manufactured early 1940. It doesn't appear the liner was ever touched, nice and tight and untouched pins. It was originally the pea green color, then overpainted a darker feldgrau, and there is evidence of a whitewash, too. It looks like it was redecaled (SS over SS), possibly when repainted. Believe it is a Pocher decal.

It's difficult to see, but in the rear skirt is scratched "KLAWIK". Haven't found this name anywhere.

Hi Guys, new to this site and what a site it is. All the answers i was looking for have been covered, i plan to visit France this spring and would love to find anything of intrest, even just a spent round casing, i am not a collector of material things but of the history of all things 1939-45.

Along Utah Beach (Ste Marie du Mont) there is a restaurant "Le Roosevelt" that is part of an old German bunker . There are artifacts for sale in the gift shop in the restaurant. I'm sure you might find some relics there.
