One last go before i go on holiday

Hi all, Had about an hour on the airbase found these strange ring things in the same hole. They are marked USCA 5, Can't see any more markings at the moment

The bullet is a .50cal for example

I think they are the where the filler cap for the Bowater drop tanks attached. Try one and see if it fits......I'm sure it will. The only things on those tanks that weren't made of pressed cardboard was the filler caps and surrounds.

I have tryed the ones i have found but them seem to be too big or too small

Go back to the base and find some that are the right size then.
