pot belly stove...

Article about: That looks very much like the bottom of a Romesse stove. LINKY ETA: These were certainly used in airfield buildings, but I can't find the period photos showing them right now.

    Bloody hell thats certainly the one. Question is..... were these an raf ww2 issue stove mate?

    edit......thats great P.B many thanks for the id, strange they mixed and matched them unless they were only issued in certain buildings....

    They used whatever commercially available types were on hand at the time in the main, so would have been luck of the draw what type was in which building on which site.

    Many thanks for your help, if you come across any period pictures of one please share Gonna head back at the wkend and see if i can find the rest of it......
