    Hello,

No carboot today so after lunch at grandma joes i headed out to the mortar range. I had about 1 hours search found about 6 more fins and other bits, but i'm intrested to know what this piece is. Is it some sort of rocket? at first i thought it was a 3inch mortar, it's just over 6inches long with 4 small fins. After that i went to the beach had a quick go few bits of scrap all in all a enjoyable but wet day

Hi Guys, Paul is correct. Part of a PIAT tail missing parts from both ends.

Note how the fins are attached with the round hole in the pressing, which is evident here on John's relic and on one from my collection.

    Cheers, Ade.
