Default Relics engulfed and swallowed by trees in Russian forest

While cruising the net last week I found an interesting site that showed images of military relics that are being swallowed up and engulfed by trees in a Russian forest it was speculated that the helmets probably fell onto young saplings during a battle, and the trees subsequently grew through bullet holes and or possibly through cracks or shrapnel damage.
There were very few details on the site and it is thought the pictures were taken in and around a forested area known as Nevsky Pyatachok, which saw heavy fighting during the Siege of Leningrad (1941-43) just thought some of you gents might find them interesting.
