just looks like a big protractor to me... I would have given it away! *Mouse thinks to himself* "just more plane carp"

It doesn't look quite right for a dead reckoning computer to me. But I've only ever found the plastic ones so can't compare it to anything. How big is it across?

Great post Salzburg,
I enjoyed seeing the adverts in with the relics
Hey peeps, had a day of sorting/cleaning relics etc. Heres some pics from the last dig, a bit pic heavy (sorry)

Small cup has "A DECKER" and "FRANCE 1940" and "Afrika *palmtree* 1941" on it
Boot with comparison (long legged corcoran jump boot) there is a photo on the 56th FG website of a Lt Dick Allerton wearing this style of boot. Not the common for flight crew to wear I would have thought, as they are not in the slightest bit warm.
various bits
M1 Carbine mag and a fresher one for comparison
Coke, Gordons Gin, Squib and other bottles

well clearly nobody is suppose to see my first two pics, three times I have tried to post them, each time is a fail... so imagine this, a small black german cup, the top of a german waterbottle and a slightly broken orange butter dish.

Great items. The Afrika Palmtree cup is superb (I would imagine!)
email them over Dan and I'll post them for you
Thanks Steve for getting the weekend sorted out and sorry for the delay in getting my photos posted.
All of my bits came from the bomb range.
First up is the top of a granade.
Next is a mortar fin.
And lastly is whats left of an artillery shell.
These are great finds for me because i dont normally get the chance to find this sort of thing.
Andy
Love the top off the grenade.....very unusual. Your artillery shell looks like a 40mm. Wonder what the hell chewed it up like that !
