    Hi guys!

    Was cleaning some more bits when some more bits when i noticed something of interest

    was cleaning this ration tin and i saw it had a lot of muck inside

    after closer inspection i notied it wasn't mud it was buttons and 3 of them

    I hooked one out to see what it was and there British, General Service buttons

    I think im going to keep them in the tin as it an interesting story, what do you guys think?

    Very interesting WH. Almost certainly put in there deliberately.

    I have to say I'd be inclined to take them out and give them a good clean, but then I haven't got many British buttons ! If you have, leave them as is

    Well, as I'm a cleaning freak, I would clean them then put them back in the tin. And keep it all together.

    I spied a P-51 fuel tank cap in the very first picture lying with lots of other finds but can't seem to find it in the cleaned exhibits anywhere?

    I am sorry Bird Dig but we are still waiting for the cleaned finds pictures from a couple of members. I'll chase them.....AGAIN !
