Oh WOW ! Well done WH ! That picture has just identified two of my bits that were on the verge of being consigned to the 'probably something but I can't be arsed cleaning them' bucket. I have got one each of the bent handles on the top of the tripod

It looks more like it may be from a 1917A1 tripod rather than the vickers. I'll get a photo of mine for comparison.
