Thx Lars for the answer! Wow man, 60cm that's like 2 ft under the earth! Great find and great detecting. I wish you the best. I only wish such finds could be had here in E. TN! LOL

Super findings!!!
Super finds. Thanks for posting.
Are you able to say, where you went to dig in Poland? I fully understand if you cant say.
Lastly: Do you have a pic of the restored P08 - it looked in fine condition (well, all of it did)?
Got you, thanks. I go to Poland but have never been there to dig.
Went to Narva though, which was fantastic. Went out the car, walked for a while, wanted to test the detector and made a sweep. Instant tone and a find of two pristine Sthurmovik shells. Then a few yards away, a dump of helmets obviously dumped there as clean up after a battle, as they were all pockmarked with holes or had bit cracks in them after grenade explosions.
How are the Poles with digging?
Look forward to pics of the P08.
Those of us who live in Australia envy your ability to go relic hunting - we have to buy from those who have all the excitement of the find!
We may live in the "lucky country" but it's not lucky if you like to dig!
Thanks for the photos!
Dan
Very nice finds mate.
Regards from a Dane in Russia
Fantastic finds! Congrats!
Look forward to seeing the helmet cleaned up.
