Hi Dave,
I try my best to research all of my tag owners. I really wouldnt want a wright up an any kind of paper or mag this is about as public as i want them to be.
Went back today for a little look round and this is the best of the finds.
Anyone know what sort of knife it is?
The light fitting doesnt look like its from a vehicle any idears?
The "receptacle bomb release type A-1" are really nice iv not found any before and not quite sure where they go on the aircraft.
Nearly forgot this its a nicely marked flare base.
The A-1 Bomb Release Receptacle fits on the reverse side of the bomb rack, behind each A-2 or A-4 Bomb Release.
It's the electrical connection for them.
All the best,
PB
Nice flare base. Never seen one marked like that before. All mine (and I have about 30) have no marks at all !!!! Lucky bugger !
On your main picture, the thing next to the blue glass looks like part of a bomb pistol/fuse. Can you do me a close up please 381st please ?
Nice 50cals and toothbrushes Can I see a Mansion Polish lid under that pile of stuff in the middle ?
