Thanks Steve, I wasnt expecting to ever find a set but i suppose thats the great thing about our hobby you just never know. Gremlin allso found a set of air crew wings last year on a different dump and i said at the time it would be the only set we ever find. (i was wrong again) If you ask him nicely he might just add a photo of them for us to look at.
Now then wile we are on 9th air force stuff i would like to show you this cockpit panel that i found years ago (again on my familys farm. Im 99% sure its A20 again. Areally nice couple of bits id'e kind of forgot about.

I'm sorry to say my laptop has given up on me and I can't seem to be able to upload photos from my iPad so this is the end of this very long thread until I've got some cash for a new lappy.
I will keep digging and saving stuff to show you.
Sorry folks..
Andy
Can you e-mail the pictures Andy ? If so, just e-mail them over to me and I'll post them up for you.
Thanks for that Steve but I can't even do that by the look of it. I had a go yesterday and it won't let me do it.
I've missed the last few posts on here, an amazing collection of bits! I love the ammo can and the turret control grip is very nice. Looking forward to more...
Right everyone i think iv'e sorted my p.c problems (for now)
The first item iv'e got to show you has been on my wish list for as long as i can remember. After years and years i found one. Its a mint condition VAT 69 Bottle..
The red piece would have been on the neck of the bottle it came from a different site but now lives back with a bottle.

VAT 69 ! Awesome. Even has a starring role in one of the Band of Brothers episodes
Lou's favourite tipple
Next up is a switch of some sort.
It says GLIDE BOMBING ATTACH?????? STATIC PRESSURE SELECTOR VALVE.
A nice glass boat. my thinking is it was the lid to a tobaco jar or somthing but the back is roken off so it ended up in the dump.
A little tiny bottle that looks like it was medical it has a very small cross on the top and two very small holes in the lid it reminds me of the top of a dental floss box. I have found this type of bottle before but they have been stuck inside match safes so what ever it was it needed to be kept dry.
