Some stuff found in Belgium

Article about: Nice finds but I do not suggest to make such pictures where You are with panzerfaust or ammo. I'm 100% positive that it is not legal to own panzerfausts in Belgium. So please think what will

Are you pointing that 'faust at the moderators on www.oorlogsvondsten.nl,???

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.

Still need to figure out how to upload pictures... Is there a way to embed them with a direct link from photo bucket?
Without the need to select the attachment link to view it?

Do you have some sort of permit to detect there? Or do you live on the edge?

    What you mean?

I live in Belgium, its not like Holland where there are so called "APV's" everywere.
Here it is free without a permit to dig, unless you search on commonwelth area's like Bastogne...

A couple friends of mine were detecting there near the German boarder and the police showed up and confiscated their detectors saying it is illegal.

It is not legal to use a metal detector in Belgium, full stop. That law was changed years ago. Now it is forbidden to use a metal detector to search for any relics in the ground, unless you are on your own private property.
You should know this if you live there; the whole of Belgium has banned the use of (private) metal detecting.
But having said that; I love that PF60, and what a job that seal has done through the years on that MG box!

Great finds Ollie Digger, I'm a detector guy myself and can appreciate the work you have to put into getting some of the places to find these things. It's certainly time consuming but most certainly worth it! Good luck and I'm looking forward to more photo's of your finds.
