Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Wolfspear: Fascinating finds Sebastian. I wonder what the dancing girl figure is?
Keep us up to date when you have more finds
Nick
Dear Wolfspear,
about the girl figure:
this is figure skater girl. I found this near Mamaev hill (Stalingrad), there is my neighborhood. During the Stalingrad battle there was a housing community. It was baby's a toy, I think so.
Definitely, it is a toy production thirtieth - fortieth years.
Looks like part of the sight off an MG42/34 tripod.
Steve T
Thanks Steve T, but my sight isn't the sight off an MG34/42 tripod.
I need help, again!!!
I found this flag near Gorodisсhe. Size of this flag is 15x35 cm. The flag made of steel, a steel peg. On the surface of white paint logotype, I think this is Regiment's logotype, I can wrong.
Rlease, tell me. What do You know and think about this flag.
Sebastian this is a typical German unit direction marker usually for a Stab even down to zug level so it's difficult to say exactly what unit it represents but these are always nice finds

The dancing girl reminds me of the famous statues on the fountain outside the univermag store, fascinating finds thanks Sebastien.

Dear Reg,
You mean this sculptural composition that was close to the railway station Stalingrad-I.
I agree with you, clothes like a fashion of the thirtieth - fortieth years.
I need help.
Approximately, I could to restore some picture on the surface.
