    A.993.99-8.

    Certainly looks like an aircraft part to me Sebastien. I'll see if I can track the code down. Can you make the missing letters/numbers out ?

    Is it made of lead? it looks like a balance weight from the front of a flying control: rudder, aileron or elevator.

    Yes, it is made of lead.

    There are letters A.993.99-8. or A.993.99-B.

    Probably Russian/American. Most German balance weights were steel and the number would begin R8. The Germans didn't have much spare lead!

    Sebastien........clean all the alloy pieces. There is likely to be a number on those somewhere as well, and/or even a factory inspection stamp.
