That last one looks good
I really enjoyed my visit to Hooge Crater, probably one of my favourites. My favorite is the small museum around the back of the "peace bar" in Ypres. Are you familiar with it?
No! Never find the time when I am in the area!
I have to go there again in a few day's, I should try to pay them a visit.
cheers

I cannot understand why this has become big news all of a sudden ,farmers have been unearthing tons of equipment and unexploded shells since WW1 but to be honest i think it damn stupid to put live ordnance on view for the general public ,especially when several people a year are killed , mainly farm workers either blown up or in some cases gassed and leads to local areas being evacuated , its great to see these relics but surely there has to be some form of control overr what can and should be displayed, what next , the bones of one of the fallen on display with a neat little card saying unknown soldier found in German , British ,French trench system ???
Dave I think the live shells were in some sort of depot awaitng to be blown!!!...I would like to think that nobody would display live rusty rounds/shells for the general public to stare at!!!...not good for Health & Safety..lol Cheers Terry.
