Here is the helmet I found in Italy last week.

Like I told you before, beautiful helmet shell!, it looks as if the shot went straight through the helmet, I wish the helmet could speak and tell the story.

The shot went indeed through the helmet. Here is a picture of the other side of the helmet. I am affraid the helmet could not save the live of the man who was wearing it at the time.

thanks for the compliment! It is indeed a helmet that tells the story... Any helmet that does is great..a relic like this one or a helmet with a nice late war camo paint.....or... There are a lot of great helmets to find!

the ek2 for show,yes?? not ground dug.

The EK2 and French fireman helmet (the left one ) are from an local antique shop. The rest are ground dug and eye finds.
