The patina is fine. The metals of the era weren't exactly modern standards. They used a lot of lead,etc in their alloys-the oxidized differently than modern metals,is all. It looks great.

That nice old full size pick-up truck could be restored amazingly well - it looks
to be complete, and not damaged much at all.
Shame to see it rusting away.........!
