Yes mate, I think the second photo corresponds to the relic I saw. I had a look inside the helmet, there was no liner left but what I guess it corresponds to photo number 2.

North Africa must be absolutely full of this stuff. I have wanted to do a hunt there ever since I saw those photos of the Libyan rebels with Enfields and MP40's in 2011.
