Here is a pic of my bomb i have found, in the old days, one fuse was still intact we where told by the KMRD
Theres tons of this stuff in the UK, When I was a police diver we were always finding UXB's in the canals and rivers of south east England as well as mortar rounds/grenades and ammo that was dumped in the Thames and various other rivers at the end of WW2.
The area it was found in was a Bombing Range quite close to where I live. It is also an SSSI managed by English Nature. Amazing what you can get away with when you are young!
