Nice finds Steve. I hoped the bit of Mustang was an aircraft serial number. US aircraft were numbered by year of order then individual identity. The only one that comes up on google is 42-50725 which was a B24. Shame.

Yeah......I got the same info....B-24. It is a shame as I was hoping it would identify an aircraft and a pilot !

Nice find again mate I have been out of the picture for over a month due to a bad fall but getting back on track now.Nice pics and great to see you are still well and finding all this interesting stuff.I was going crazy over here finding old pow stuff but all has been put on hold.

The light fitting looks to me very much like a Lucas ammeter, the very early war type 1939/40. If you measure it I can compare it to my own.
