    Hi all,

    It's going well, It's definitely a 3inch fin

I'm just put some fresh vinegar in as it was quite mucky,
going to see how it is in the morning

This was a hard one, 1 week in vinegar didn't do much, Used a hammer and nail to chisel it off

Good job Mate it looks a lot better now, a chisel could be easier but what I use to remove the larger bits of rust before soaking in vinegar is a butter knife with the blade broken off half way along. Its strong but thin ideal for running across the surface and lifting the bigger rust bits in fact even takes the surface rust off and the blade corner is good for removing the stubborn tough bits.
