    Default Soviet State Railwaymen

Large image of a Техник-лейтенант/Работник службы движения (Technical lieutenant/Worker of traffic department) - NKPS in 1943 regulation - who is also a combat veteran. Note the EXCELLENT GUNNER badge and ribbons for what may be an Order of Glory, a bravery medal, and some kind of capture of/defense of medal.

The shoulder-boards and peaked cap are similar to these:

    Makes sense Dom.

However, it can be reversed? Have seen it...

    Thanks!

I'm agree with Dom, that the last ribbon is rather the medal for Victory. Order's ribbon goes first, before medals. Besides, the war time awards set usually finishes by the Victory medal ribbon, like we see here.

Odd, but senseful image of a man wearing a refashioned M40 gymnasterka with VOSO shoulder-boards for the rank of major - but with an NKPS cap notwithstanding.

"Senseful" meaning that he is no doubt, a railways man.

Note the Shock Worker badge also.

    Thanks Garvy!

Great stuff. Many thanks for your thoughtfulness.

I have some bits of that insignia.

I should get back with-it and show them sometime.

    Cheers,
    Richie
