The grip is the only saving grace for this dagger which should put the value at $90
I dont mind those giving out values that fall under $100

Actually looks like chrome plating.

Cant see an SA man in the very later period chroming his SA dagger if he was not at the front or still alive.
A process in chroming can be found anywhere at any Metal finisher.
Repro SA daggers some of which are chrome plated.
