early SA Dagger with inscription on scabbard.

Article about: I may be wrong but is not usual to find nickel fittongs and gau mark on a rzm marked dagger...isn t it?

    If it were me, I'd be offering $350-400 max, that's if I wanted it of course. Being a parts dagger, repainted scabbard, only fair condition blade, no hanger etc, unless it's an extremely rare maker and you really need it to complete your collection I wouldn't actually bother with it at all.

    Dean pay the price that the parts are worth separately.
    A good grip, a pair of guards, and a painted scabbard and an overcleaned rzm blade.
    I say a 250 dollars, the dagger has no real collectors value, it has a parts daggers value.

    I agree with all your comments which both elates and also upsets me at the same time..
    Now I have to give my friend the news he will dread. He might be reassured by the news only because he would regret selling it. Either way, I thank you all for the professional advice and gentlemanly feedback. I don't like to ask, " how much is this worth..?" But I did it for a friend.
