Hi Gerrit. Nice SA dagger.
It was usually the earlier items that were personalised, this is a nice feature that goes very well with the early blade.
Thankyou for sharing matty
Stingray, id also be interested in seeing them photo's as ive never seen anything like that before.

Mac it has had a hit on the left side of the swastika, its a bit damaged.
The hit pushed the right wing tip a bit to the outside, making macro's like i do, blows it up, but in hand its hardly noticeable.
I can push it back if i would like that, but i think its like it is, and its not disturbing me at all!
I love the handwork of the owners initials on the back
Ger
Ger ,
Thanks for your explanation, macro mode does make things look worse than they appear to be in hand ,
Owners initials are a great addition.
Cheers Mac 66.

So as not to derail Gerrits thread...I would like to ask Stingray..if he may start a new thread on his SA grip...so a discussion may ensue. I will also PM Ivan of this request. Regards Larry

Nice one Ger!!
The initials are real nice bonus, and I like how the original owner left the Gau mark intact...
Daa's een praachtig mes!
