In my opinion it is better to leave well enough alone.If you take the upper fitting off you can possibly cause more harm than good.The dagger shows what most nice pieces show and is a real nice SA! Carl

Hi Gerrit,, although,, this was the dagger, I had those "bacteria spots" on the blade in a couple of places..it is not as bad as it looks,, and is still a keeper. Heres the thread https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/dagge...enance-228130/. It looks like Hell under an eye loop,, but not as bad with the normal eye. Hard to find this maker..but if I decide to part with it,, you will get first shot. Regards Larry
