Hi MT and congrats on a historical find !
You can toss the RZM leather hanger ...it doesnt belong and save a for a nickel type.
Lakesidetrader is up around your way and will have one to fit .
I ask this question of many that have come across full Rohms that would benefit the community and yourself if you could post a few extra photos close up of the inscription and motto. ......just standard procedure and nothing personal.
No flash and less trees in the background. Other than that ..a screamer

Looked at this earlier in the day but didn't have time to post. Looks beautiful to a non expert like me. Congrats

-- Crikey!! I was so bedazzled by the find and dagger itself I didn't even take notice of the hanger and its maker mark! Thanks for pointing that out Larry! And you're correct, Paul at Lakeside does have an appropriate hanger available that I'll purchase for it.
I'll see if I can take some better close-up pics of the blade's inscription here shortly. Thanks again for your input.

Very . very nice . Where ever that old boy has been hiding it has been well looked after ! Look at the anodising on that scabbard , must be 95% coverage still , and of course the all important piece of steel and inscription ! From what I can see it looks in superb condition and last but not least , looking at the pommel nut , it seems like it has never been taken down which I love to see . Congrats on your purchase . I love it
