    hi

verry verry nice sa marine dagger first one i see in 2 years

    about the normal sa dagger

maybe your lucky and the eagle is under the thing that fills the eagle gap but if there isnt your grip is non the less spoiled

as you wound find a good grip that fitss nice that easally
i would say leave it like this and maybe you can get a nice price for it when you are doing a big house cleaning or when sold on the internet

Hi Chard, it would be possible to strip the black stain or paint from the grip and replace the missing eagle. Eagles do come up for sale from time to time. Just looked at one dealer for you but he only has later alloy RZM period ones in stock at $35 each.

    Cheers, Ade.

Chard - I would agree with Ade, try to remove the black and get a nice eagle for the grip and you have yourself a SA dagger.
    Lots of luck -

Thought I would bring this back to the forefront as I forgot to post the owner of this daggers party book and other documents. If you look close at the picture posted from the Party Member book you will see on the right collar patch(Left as you look at the picture) an anchor which indicates that he was a member of the Marine SA.
Great when it all comes together
