More info on a WW2 German SA dagger

Article about: Good morning guys. I didn't know that the knot of an officer's sword was different from the one of a NCO's. Thanks for clarifying that.

    The knot you show is a Police item.

    From collectors you can find cheaper examples too. It always depend on the condition, the maker of the dagger and how scarce or usual it is. I have watched a few in the past in order to get one and an average price was between 400-500 euros. You can find much more expensive examples, though as you can see in the list that Ade gave you above.

    Your knot is Police NCOs as Ade has said,note the colours compared to the one in the pic of the army officers dagger.
