It appears to have been played with, IMO. The wood grip is a fairly good hand-made
attempt at a replacement, I'd say. It seems to be carved from Indian rosewood
or perhaps mahogany, where normally these were dyed hardwood or some
other type of 'local' wood.
The insignia does not fit perfectly, and the grip is not entirely symmetrical.
Note that the 'pastille' is rotated slightly to the left.

Who has time to try to replicate these things? Sheesh, does look a little odd in the grip.

Stay away as what everone else said seems corect. Also its a parts dagger. You have early crossguards with a gau mark, and the blade is transitional(should have nice plated crossguards).
