Now That would be a one-looker Rohm SA. The OP's piece? No thanks...I'd still pass...

With sincere apologies to Paul Hogle "Lakesidetrader"..a miscommunication..... as his request on my part was misunderstood. I have additional photos of yet another Henckels Rohm SA example. More supportive photos is always better in collecting these types !! cool militiaria

The 2 posts made by Paul & Larry both confirm my statement that Henckels had its logo on the Rohm dagger closer to the guard as the standard non Rohm daggers.
Here an overview of 7 daggers without the Motto and 5 with Motto, note the position of the logo's
Ive not included the Brents antique Henckels Full Rohm dagger, its currently offline but it also shows the closer to the guard logo.

Ger
Right you are Gerrit first I noticed that small difference.
Logo appears to be the same size but the crossguard distance sets it apart..an easy over sight. Good work Gerrit Regards Larry

Excellent job by Gerrit, hunting up photos to prove the point. There used to be an old rule of thumb-literally. If you could lay your thumb between the logo and the guard, it was in a location for a non-inscribed blade. A Half a thumb's width showed it was right for an inscribed blade. (This all goes out the window if you have a fat thumb, of course...but hey....)

Not to detract from the original Henckels Rohm topic, but a parallel containing IMO the same use of a scant smaller logo. It may be my eyes..but Im sure that Ed Wustof also practiced this application of a logo closer to the crossguard.
My thoughts included with Henckels having a slightly smaller logo along with Wustoff. ( not to be compared to the very small logos used by Boker and Eickhorn ) Below are photos of 2 Wustoff logo types .
I seem to think the photo below shows a slightly smaller logo?

It appears that I have already commented on the existence of the smaller Wustof logo in the SA Gruppe marks known to Dagger Producers and Manufacturers thread
