My comment right now..is irrelevant to this particular dagger posted on this thread..but a generalization of some Rohm daggers....>>>... " Why is it that we can see tons of SA and SS daggers..and be able most of the time to see through to the crossgraining..and condition of the blade...yet when it comes to a certain amount of Rohm daggers..they always seem to be crapped up with some kind of corrosion or topical dirt. These daggers are made of the same steel and are no different than the others except for the inscription.
Mike your efforts to gain more photos are valiant....and I understand this is all you can get..so you did your part...yet these photos are no better than the first..as close detail can not be made out through this topical crud..or what ever it is. Im still stuck on the inscription..and not comfortable with some of the seriffs on the lettering..and the depth of etch can not be detected at all. An in hand examination would be required..and can not give a
