thanks larry,here are a few better pictures.if you put brown paint or polish on the two spots on the grip you would hardy notice as they are not big chips at all but i leave thing as is.thanks
the sa button cleaned up great! used a little spit and q-tip as someone told me was the safest ..thanks for looking..
Believe it or not Pammy there are a lot of proffesional antique restorers who use spittle and Q-tips in their every day work, its because of the enzymes in the spit which actually cleans very well, its especially good on discoloured ivory or bone
i belive it dave as it realy came up great with out taking the original patina off just the junk that was covering up the sa button.thanks if it was you or thanks to the one that told me to do that.
