Hi Feuerbach......Why is it on the ground!!!.....I have a few questions as I cant discern exactly...#1..is the scabbard painted?...and #2...the leather hanger..appears to be new leather..but this may be due to the lighting..is it possible to get closer pics of both..or can you tell me exactly maybe its the lighting. Love the grip fit Regards Larry

No these are the only pictures I have for the moment, and I have no clue why the seller has photographed the dagger on the ground. Guess the thought it would be a funky display. The price for this dagger is 580 euros, and that seems legit to me for a dagger in this condition, but would like to hear from the specialists here.
I must add that the dagger is in very good and original condition and comes with a 'not good, money back' garantee.

Hi Feuerbach..without seeing more pics.....IMO..that price is over inflated..as I am still at odds with the scabbard finish and the hanger. The tab part of the leather hanger I am not comfortable with and does not conform..to anything I have seen. Also tell the seller to knock $50 of the price tag for laying it on the ground..just by doing that..and unwanted scratch or pick mark is now a part of the dagger landscape metal.
EP&S..is a common maker with every expected gruppe mark.

    Need more photos Regards Larry

Thank you Larry, I had a price set in my mind of 300 euros. After all it is a SA EP&S dagger, not very rare as you stated, and maybe the scabberd and hanger are misfit. I will send the seller an email, see what he has to say for it. Thanks again for your input.

    Hi Feuerbach,

The pics are not good enough to give this dagger a full review and value.
Laying it on a background like this often means a coverup, the pics are not detailed and will not popup on a background like this, i raises a red flag each time a dagger is presented this way.
Let us asume following:If the scabbard is anodized AND the hanger is an Original AND the blade has its cross grain with no discoulorization then 580 euro is a going price in Europe, np with that.
Even a common Pack or Eick will tip the 600 euro with a hanger.
a common good one sells easy for 650-750 euro, i sell them in a day, even sold 7 SA daggers in 1 weekend, when i needed money for my new house.
Asuming this is a decent dagger then 300 euro's is as you will know an insult for the seller.
Offering me that for a dagger will close the door for you for good.

i would ask good detailed pics, if the seller is serious he will provide them to you.
If you dont get them, thats a def. NO to the deal.

    Regards,
    Ger

    Update:
Ive seen better pics of the dagger in Question:
It has a repainted scabbard, and a crushed ball.
The RZM hanger is a repro, not an original.
The blade has been polished to cover up pitting, not much left of the Original cross grain, so bad blade quality.
Not a dagger for my taste, and your 300 euro aint that bad for an offer

    Regards,
    Ger
