my question is why can we read "He" on crossguard ?
in this thread, O. Simon had only "Bo" or "Fr"

What district is He? Maybe Otto outsourced crossgaurds ? Don't know.

Hi Didier...this producer is a small cottage maker..which until recently within a few years..that these daggers began to surface. This producer rates a 9 on the McSaar list. There are a few other examples floating around with the Gruppe mark "Fr" and BO. I dont see this being a problem marked "He" as which I will add to the gruppe mark list. The only thing I see unusual is the cross guard step being a little low. I will find my Otto Simon link to compare the 2.
is there a scabbard to go with this dagger? Regards Larry

This cross guard step looks good and i see no problems with your dagger. I will add the Gruppe mark to the list

On a scale of 1-10 on rarity......the number 10 being the rarest seen....Otto Simon rates a 9. The scabbard is a bit rusted which some light oil applied for a few days on top should remove some of the surface rust. Gerrit or Rancid66 could help you with that if needed. Thanks for posting this maker as therese are rare to see.
